DEMENTIA CARE

A diagnosis of Dementia or Alzheimer’s can be life changing for the individual with the disease and their family. Providing care for someone living with this disease is not an easy task and may place a great deal of stress on the caregiver. In the early stages of dementia, the individual may feel everything is under control but as the disease progresses so does the degree of care, sometimes even leading to 24/7 assistance.

As trained professionals, our goal is to enhance the quality of life, wellbeing, dignity and independence of seniors living with this disease within their homes.

PERSONAL CARE

We want all of our customers to experience the impressive level of professionalism when working with U'Belong Senior Care. We recognize the importance of feeling comfortable with a home care provider coming into your personal space and, most likely, assisting you with the most private care. Our care coordinator works with you and your family to create a personalized care plan that is designed to meet your unique needs. Our diverse personal care services include, but are not limited to, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminder, bathing & dressing, light house keeping and respite care.

MOBILE MEAL PREP.

This is one of our most popular services available. It’s made a big difference for many of our customers, and is provided with the highest level of excellence. With this service, we ensure all needs are being met, seamless and handled in a timely manner. Whenever you work with GentleCare, you can trust that you’re in great hands.

This service is designed to deliver hot, nutritious meals right to your door. That means you no longer have to try to fit cooking for your loved one into your busy schedule or leave the house to deliver it to them; we handle all of that for you. Our meals are culturally appropriate. All dishes are dietitian approved and evaluated for the dietary needs of older adults. Our food is prepared fresh daily and substitutions are available based on your individual needs. Low sodium and pureed are just some of the ways that we can personalize your meals.

How Does It Work?

· Hot meals are delivered Monday through Saturday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

· Hot meals are $10.50 per meal and include 1 soup, 1 entrée, and 1 dessert.

· Clients are billed at the end of each month by cheque or pre-authorized payment.

· Staff are trained in ensuring that you receive any assistance needed upon delivery.

· Many older adults and seniors enjoy the social aspect of receiving their meals and engaging in conversations with our staff.

COMPANIONSHIP

It’s made a big difference for many of our clients, and is provided with the highest level of excellence. With this service, we ensure to learn our clients likes and dislikes, we learn our clients social and interactive preferences. This way we are meeting our clients individual needs.
